The Colorado Rockies chose Stantec to lead the architectural design of a multi-use project for the West Lot development that is spread across nearly three acres, spanning an entire city block, adjacent to Wynkoop Plaza and Coors Field. The mixed-use development features an outdoor “content plaza.” This outdoor plaza includes restaurants, offices, a hotel and residences revolving around a screen-laden public space. Its chief attraction is all about baseball: the Colorado Rockies’ baseball team Hall of Fame. This pregame and postgame gathering place for Rockies fans also serves as a year-round space accommodating concerts, festivals, and other community activities.
